Ralph Simon has enjoyed a spectacular 30+ year career in a variety of prominent fields: media & entertainment, mobile smartphone technology & content, Exponential Medicine & health (with Singularity University), and now too, The Global Education Moonshot project, that teaches journalistic skills, world-wide, to students, under-grads & job-seekers. He uniquely saw the potential of mobile & it’s global potential way ahead of many, early on in the mobile phone transformation of Guatemala and the world. Highly respected internationally, Ralph has consistently been at the forefront of mobile media innovation, mobile education, learning & media, social media ideation, use trends & next stage mobile video, working with a variety of global, digital & business leaders, global creatives and innovators across cultures around the world. Ralph is one of the founders of the global mobile entertainment & mobile social media industry, a visionary & consistent innovator, & popularly known as “the father of the ring tone” for developing the world’s first commercial ring tone service platform. His relentless curiosity & search is focused on the world’s smartest Innovation & digital business. He has deep knowledge of Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, & how to grow consumer engagement in multi-cultural communities. He believes that the future belongs to “Screenagers” and their screens of every kind, around the world.
He is an Executive Board Member & Global judge for the World Summit Awards (the United Nations’ linked global competition where about 180 member states enter the world-wide competition to find best SDG platforms, apps, & digital products that support the UN’s SDG’s), Ralph has become an in-demand keynote speaker & moderator around the world at key tech & innovation gatherings. He is a special advisor to the GSM Association, who run the global telcom industry & who organise the Mobile World Congress conventions in Barcelona, Los Angeles & Shanghai. He is responsible for curating & programming some of the world’s most important start-up & future tech gatherings world-wide, and is co-founder of the Global Moonshot for Education with legendary Silicon Valley educator, Dr Esther Wojcicki. He is founder & Chairman of Mobilium Global, the ‘international cool hunters’, Ralph is based in London, but always on a plane seeking out what’s coming next, from all over the world. This is his first-ever visit to Guatemala. He is very excited at the thought of meeting the Guatemala digital community and visioneers in beautiful Guatemala.
