Julio is currently working as Director of Acceleration for Pomona Impact. His role consists in working to strengthen the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Central America region to be able to reach excellent entrepreneurs in which Pomona will be able to invest. He is leading the AgTech Program in Pomona Impact, which is promoting the creation of innovative technology for agriculture in the region. Previously he worked as Operations Manager for Ganorsa, a family company based in Guatemala that focuses on livestock production; and import and distribution of livestock production supplies. He holds Board positions in Enactus Guatemala, an NGO focused on promoting the creation of social enterprises through university students and in Starfish, an NGO focused on promoting leadership and education for girls in the Atitlán region in Guatemala. He is a professor in Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, where he teaches entrepreneurship and works in social entrepreneurship projects.
